OSS specialist OlinData expands operations to Asia
- OlinData opens new office in Singapore and hopes to expand existing customer base
- Goal to promote IT automation software Puppet in Asia
OlinData Asia Pte Ltd is the biggest official partner of Puppet Labs in Asia and specializes in consulting and training services for Puppet – information technology (IT) automation software which helps system administrators manage their server infrastructure.
“We are very excited to bring Puppet consulting, training and certification to Asia,” said Walter Heck, founder and chief executive officer of OlinData.
“Puppet is a technology that has revolutionized the system administration world, and OlinData is determined to bring Puppet to Asia’s IT scene as there is a lot to be gained from adopting this configuration management technology,” he added.
The company previously had a presence in Asia for its consulting and training services, having conducted sessions in Singapore, Malaysia, India and the Philippines. It hopes to expand its existing customer base by having an official presence in the region.
